This is my first initial mock up for the magazine advert i have tried to keep it simple with the art based of one of my didgipack designs, showing the artist with the background relevant to the album name. I have tried to use text fonts that are appropriate to the song and the colours I used are to make sure it can be seen.
My second mock design is again biased on the musicians face, however this time its set up so the ad is a polaroid picture. The Text font I used on this one is clear bold and stands out a lot better than my first design however I do feel the ad as a whole lacks colour and in the real thing I don't think I will use the effect I have.
Design two is the design I will focus on the most when I put it on to the group blog. but I will also use ideas from my other design as well as merging it with others from my group. The reason we have practiced making magazine ads is because it will help to come up with a plan for pictures we will need to take as well as practise putting it together when it comes to creating our own.
